The Camden Children’s Garden is hosting a culinary experience amongst the cornfields. Chef Mark Smith of Tortilla Press will be cooking up a feast at Springdale Farms. Menu items include vegetable and goat cheese empanadas, grilled chicken breast with peach sauce, and homemade fresh peach and apple ice cream!

天问 TIAN WEN: Heavenly Questions for Modern Times (CityWide Fringe Pick)

This puppet performance, inspired by a classic Chinese poem, TIAN WEN, uses Asian and Western puppet art to explore universal themes and ideas. Don’t miss this experimental performance which uses puppetry, sculpture, movement, and live music to explore difficult questions we face in modern times.


Making Space: Leeway at 25 Opening Reception & Conversation

Making Space: Leeway @ 25  is an exhibition celebrating Leeway Foundation’s 25 years of supporting artists, cultural producers and organizers in Philadelphia. The exhibition kicks off with an artist talk featuring Zanele Muholi and local artists from the Women’s Mobile Museum, and will be followed immediately by the exhibition’s opening reception.

Come out for a  series of short talks from four artists, Sheldon Abba, Michelle Angela, Ortiz Keir Johnston (of Amber Public Art), and Ginger Rudolph (of HAHA x Paradigm) who create work in Philly’s public spaces. This series is organized by Streets Depts Conrad Benner and Cindy M. Ngo (of Eat Up The Borders) in partnership with Temple University Libraries.
