Multimedia artist Marie Alarcón is the selected 2018 Leeway x Icebox artist-in-residence. Within this residency, they have curated exhibitions on diaspora, migration, and belonging, creating a space for fruitful public conversations on topics that affect all people of color in the United States. The culminating performance will feature an evening of new performances by Marie Alarcon in collaboration with SWARM, Petra Floyd, Wit Lopez, and Naya.

Folks in Manayunk can do some sun salutations with Roots2Rise, a group that brings programming to folks all over Philadelphia, largely through Philadelphia Park and Recreation facilities.
