Social justice and music collide during the third installment of The Hope & Fury concert series from La Colombe, RECPhilly and Yards Brewery. The event will start with a panel discussion about gender equality and misrepresentation of women in the media. On hand for the discussion will be Lauren Hart, women’s & LGBTQ+ rights advocate Anne Wakabayashi, and Vita and the Woolf’s Jennifer Pague. Donations will be collected for the Women’s Media Center, a progressive, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization working to raise the visibility, viability and decision-making power of women and girls in media. Donations will help to ensure that their stories get told and their voices are heard. Come out for an evening of food, free Yards Beer, music and great discussions by Philadelphians for Philadelphians.
Bastille Day 2018: The Farewell Tour

Come out for one last huzzah with the Bearded Ladies, and consume your final butterscotch krimpet thrown from the walls of the penitentiary. We hear there will be some other surprises as well!

Celebrate Bastille Day at Bistrot La Minette with a tempting four-course dinner. Chef Kenneth Bush and his team have crafted a decadent spread of French delicacies. Start off your meal with chilled potato leek soup with parsley oil and croutons, then sample an array of delicacies from the buffet, including patés, quiche and oven roasted veggies. For the fourth course you can choose between half roasted chicken, filet of salmon or a pan-seared pork chop. Top off your dinner by trying either a layered almond cake, chocolate mousse or caramelized puff pastry!
The special Bastille Day Menu will be available from 12 noon until 10:30 pm on Saturday and until 9 pm on Sunday.
