Parks on Tap is back, and this week they are at Pastorious park. Come out and sip some beer with friends in your favorite neighborhood parks. Plus, a portion of the proceeds goes back to the parks. 

 

Screening Under the Stars

Everyone’s favorite summer activity is back! Screenings Under the Stars is showing Captain Marvel this week at Penn’s Landing, so grab some friends and a blanket and head over to the water to watch a movie outdoors on the big screen!

 

Wizards and Witches Beer Festival  

Saturday, July 13th 

6:30 – 10 pm 

23rd St Armory 

Cost: $42 

The event will host tastings of over twenty magical ales. Explore the Lair of Secret Cider Potions and Adult Butterscotch Beer Tavern. There will be multiple magical photo opportunities, team trivia, plenty of food, and live music from the Sorceress Sisters, Red Head Party Band, and DJ DumbleD.

Join Friends, Peace, and Sanctuary for a day filled with culinary and art workshops connected to the two-year project at The Free Library of Philadelphia and the Culinary Literacy Center. Cooking portion will take place from 1-3 pm.  

 

Wellness Workshop with Wilde Gatherings

This wellness workshop will take place in front of The Bar by Bluebird Distilling under the atrium in The Bourse Food Hall and will focus on personalized skincare and 2019’s hottest ingredient: apple cider vinegar. Guests will enjoy a complimentary alcoholic or non-alcoholic shrub from Bluebird Distilling, made with apple cider vinegar, and will leave with two custom-made skin products, a 1 oz. Make Art Philly is a free summer art-making event at the City Hall Courtyard geared towards children from five to 12 years of age. Participate in fun family-friendly arts activities with Philadelphia cultural organizations. Learning healthy habits like drinking water instead of sugary beverages as a kid is important, and there will be activities there to show these budding artists that our local water is safe, tasty and good for the planet.
