Petals & Pasties

Thursday, April 25

Travel back in time with a lively French-inspired burlesque event. Petals and Pasties celebrates the release of new spring cocktails and the restaurant’s love of local Philadelphia-based performing arts with great music, sparkling dresses and six burlesque performances from Ginger Leigh, Margo Starlux and Mustang Mayhem. Tickets include access to the event, the dance shows and two drinks

 

Philadelphia Science Festival

The Philadelphia Science Festival is back to educate, inspire, and engage the region with the science and technology that surrounds our everyday world. Events will be hosted at a variety of different locations, so check out the Franklin Institute’s website for the full list of events.

 

The Rad Awards

Friday, April 26

The Rad Awards are an annual event honoring local women leaders across the gender spectrum who inspire in the fields of technology, media, culture, science, and business. Nominees were selected from over 300 reader submissions!  

 

The Eighth Annual Center City Jazz Festival  

Saturday, April 27

Cost: $20 in advance; $25 at the door

The Eighth Annual Center City Jazz Festival features a lineup of blockbuster performers as part of Philadelphia Jazz Appreciation Month. Attendees can expect a jam-packed schedule of 20 bands performing at five venues over six hours, all within walking distance of each other in the heart of Center City.

 

Eat to Empower

The Eat to Empower Food Festival features some of Philadelphia’s best restaurants, spirits, musical talent and entertainment. In 2018, Eat to Empower kicked off its inaugural event, raising over $250,000 to support Vetri Community Partnership’s mission of empowering children and families to lead healthier lives through fresh food, hands-on experiences, and education.

 

Shuckfest 2019

Come out for an oyster shucking experience you won’t forget. Oyster House’s Shuckfest will feature shucking tutorials, oyster tasting, crafts, plus food and drink specials! If you love oysters you won’t want to miss Shuckfest 2019.

 

Cà Phê Roasters Pop-up

Come out to the latest pop-up location for Cà Phê Roasters who will be serving Vietnamese coffee, boba and lemonade/strawberry lemonade. Plus, Lil Pop Shop will be there with the popsicles! This Bubbles and Science event is part of the Philadelphia Science Festival and hosted by Mural Arts & Friends of the Rail Park.

 

4th Annual Puffs & Pours 4 Paws

Holt’s Cigar Company

Cost: $50

This exclusive event is hosted in Holt’s private cigar lounge and will feature a signature scotch cocktail. The event kicks off at 6:00 pm with cocktail hour and a live auction at 7:30 pm. The $50 ticket includes two cigars, open bar and hors d’oeuvres. All proceeds benefit the Paw It 4ward Foundation and $25 of your ticket is tax deductible!
